It wasn’t terrible but after 10 years waiting I was expecting a much better movie. You are constantly reminded about her mature look and her need to get a boyfriend during the “Zompocalypse”. All in all, Zombieland: Double Tap pays a decent homage to the original zombie cult classic by getting everyone (cast and crew) back together, and delivering yet another entertaining flick.By maintaining the essence of the first film, Ruben Fleischer is able to capture the outstanding casts chemistry, as well as present those amazingly entertaining action sequences. All seem to have not aged a bit, except Little Rock and they don’t let you forget that.
I would have preferred to just keep the original four – Columbus, Tallahassee, Wichita & Little Rock. With the introduction of many new characters, the multiple story-lines did this movie a disservice and sidetracked from the main mission, ZOMBIES! However, they lost something in the process compared to the charm of the first film. Zombieland 2 aka Double Tap tried to get creative in adding new characters, new rules, more gore, and new zombies. The scrappy fighters must now rely on their wits and weapons more than ever as they soon find themselves in a relentless battle against smarter, faster and seemingly indestructible zombies. Along the way, they encounter other post-apocalyptic warriors and a group of survivors who find refuge in a commune. Zombie slayers Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita and Little Rock leave the confines of the White House to travel to Graceland in Memphis, Tenn. Patient Zero spread the plague until most of the world was wiped out. Mad cow disease mutated and created Patient Zero. The Narrator, Columbus (going by the name of where he’s from) (Jesse Eisenberg) starts by telling us about how the plague began. It is most noted for having the gun hose of the particle wand coming out of the crank shaft area in the upper part of the pack, the silvery looking back that comes in contact with the person wearing it, and the thrower with a very short wand. ZOMBIELAND (2009) NOTE: This spoiler was sent in by L. The proton pack that Woody Harrelson uses is not from the movies, but is a prop that first appeared at San Diego Comic-Con in 2008 to promote Mattel's Ghostbusters toy line.
The Vacuum Bill Murray uses to mimic a Proton Pack/particle thrower is a Shark EP722 Vacuum.Tallahassee and Wichita are shown rocking out to "Ghostbusters" the theme song. That very scene also appears in the film. Woody Harrelson (as Tallahassee) all throughout the movie wants really bad a Twinkie which is also a main food product used by Egon Spengler in explaining the level of ectoplasmic of New York in the first Ghostbusters movie.Jesse Eisenberg, and Abigail Breslin are watching Ghostbusters (First Movie) in Bill Murray's theater as the character Little Rock has never seen the movie, let alone know who Bill Murray is.Bill Murray wears a sweeper like a proton pack, and Tallahassee wears what looks to be a prop of a proton pack (along with a jumpsuit) in a scene where they are jokingly playing ghostbusters, also Wichita seems to be trying to sound like Janine Melnitz in the same scene.Along with Bill Murray doing a decent length cameo, there are tons of Ghostbuster references.
